MICES EU 2025
Our partner conference, MICES – Mix-Camp E-Commerce Search, takes place on the day after Berlin Buzzwords 2025, as an in-person event on June 18th, at TUECHTIG in Berlin. Focusing on e-commerce search, MICES brings together experts from various fields such as IT, product management, UX design, search management, information retrieval, data science and search engine vendors to discuss challenges, share ideas, best practices and case studies in e-commerce search. Admission is free, but registration is required.
AI Plumbers Conference
AIFoundry is bringing you the second edition of the AI Plumbers Conference — a meetup for low-level AI builders who value real conversations over keynote slides.
If you’re planning to attend the Berlin Buzzwords Barcamp, arrive a little earlier to enjoy the open-source community vibes and discussions at their open-to-all unconference. Hugging Face will be joining them to present use cases they are going to discuss. You can join as well— the call for papers is still open, so please apply!

c-base tour
Founded in 1995, c-base is Germany’s, and probably the world’s, oldest hackerspace, operated by the NGO c-base e.V. Following its creed, “be future compatible,” c-base serves as a space for nerds, geeks, hackers, dreamers, and data travelers to gather, converse, and explore ideas for creating a better future—whatever that may entail. In this spirit, c-base hosted the Lounge of the Chaos Communication Congress when it was held in Berlin. It was also the birthplace of both the “Förderverein für freie Netzwerke e.V.” (2003), Germany’s first Freifunk chapter, and the German Pirate Party (2006). Additionally, the very first Berlin Buzzwords event took place at c-base in 2009.
To conclude the first evening of Berlin Buzzwords, Gregor “Little Detritus” Bransky invites you to join a tour of c-base. Afterwards, you can unwind at one of its recreational areas, enjoying a refreshing beverage by the waterside of the Spree.
A travel group will form during the Get-Together.
