That’s a wrap on Berlin Buzzwords 2025! We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us for our 16th edition. It was three incredible days filled with exciting talks, insightful workshops, and valuable networking opportunities.
We kicked off #bbuzz with our Barcamp on Sunday, which truly is a cherished tradition. Nick Burch expertly hosted the Barcamp, guiding attendees through a very insightful afternoon filled with lively discussions.
On Monday, we started our conference program with a powerful keynote from Aline Blankertz. Her talk, “Unpacking Digital Sovereignty: How to avoid fueling the nationalist rise” discussed the quest for European digital sovereignty in a time of rising authoritarianism, highlighting how digital sovereignty can inadvertently favour the power concentration seen with Big Tech.
Over 80 speakers in 60 sessions shared their knowledge, ideas and perspectives on the latest topics and buzzwords of the data and search world. Recordings of these sessions are available on our YouTube Channel.
One of this year’s highlights was our Get-Together, sponsored by Search Guard. We concluded the first conference day with delightful drinks and snacks, accompanied by live music, creating a fantastic atmosphere for connection.
Berlin Buzzwords thrives on motivated people with a hands-on mentality.
