Accessibility & Diversity at #bbuzz

We are committed to making our conference inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Accessibility onsite

Berlin Buzzwords takes place in several locations within the Kulturbrauerei Berlin: Kesselhaus, Maschinenhaus, Palais and Frannz Salon. Some of these venues are only fully wheelchair accessible via ramps or elevators, which are not accessible to the general public. To assist attendees in wheelchairs or with mobility impairments, we will have a dedicated accessibility assistant on site to help them navigate the venue.

For information on the accessibility of each location, please visit our dedicated accessibility page.

If you are planning to attend Berlin Buzzwords in a wheelchair or have any mobility issues, please let us know in advance at info@berlinbuzzwords.de. This will allow us to arrange for sufficient members of staff to assist anyone who might need support.

Diversity Tickets

To promote diversity at Berlin Buzzwords, we’ve been running a Diversity Ticket program since 2021. Diversity Tickets are fully sponsored (i.e., free) tickets available to individuals from underrepresented groups within the Berlin Buzzwords community. This includes, but is not limited to, women, people of colour, LGBTQIA individuals, people with disabilities, and those facing economic or social hardships.

We offer two types of Diversity Tickets: Diversity Onsite Tickets and Diversity Online Only Tickets. You can register a Diversity Ticket on our dedicated Diversity page, where you will also find more information about the program.

If you work for a company that would like to support our Diversity Tickets program, we would love to hear from you. All supporters of the Diversity Tickets program will have their logos featured on our Diversity page as a thank you. Please email Paul at partner@berlinbuzzwords.de to discuss how you can support this initiative.
